Michael asked:

I always use the washing machine to wash the rug from the floor of my bathroom. This works fine but since I know how nasty bathroom floors are I would like to start sterilizing the washer after I run the rug through it. Does anyone have any good methods or products they suggest that will sterilize the machine before I put clothes back in it? Thanks.

I recently painted my small full bath a yellow color. I have a brown bath fitter tub/shower and light hardwood floors in the bathroom. I have no idea what color bath rug to buy. The toilet and sink are white as is the trim. Suggestions?
I just put in the vanity and it looks great. Now all I need is the rug. I like the idea of blue and someone I talked to suggested green. Thoughts/

I just purchased an 8×11 handmade wool rug online. I am not sure if I need a rug pad under it to keep it from slipping or whatever. I’ve seen a few rubber ones that cost around $80 and some thicker plush ones going for over $100. Is it really worth it?

Can I use an indoor thick wool-like rug on a screened porch?

Any B asked:

I have a rug that used to be in our playroom and has a bit of a stain already. I would hate to just throw it out since it is rather cute. I am turning a screened in patio area into an outdoor art and play space for my children and was wondering if I could use the rug down there? What dangers are there to doing this, if any?

What color should my walls be with a dark blue rug?

maniacal_tulips asked:

I’m moving into a room with a dark blue rug and I want to paint the walls. It’s pretty much a straight dark blue with no other hints of color. It’s a dining room being converted into a bedroom, so it’s about twice the size of a normal bedroom. I’m male and my furniture and wall hangings are of an old european theme (dark wood, tapestries, old maps etc.). I want to convey a masculine, yet warm and inviting feel to the room. Since the carpet color doesn’t afford me many painting options, I wanted to see what you thought.
I have a color in mind, but I wanted to see what other people thought because perhaps there is something I haven’t thought of myself. Thanks for your input.

I have an 8 month old kitten and a 7 month old kitten and one (or both) have been pooping on the rug, in the hallway where the litter box is. It’s always in this area. I make sure their litter boxes are clean, so idk what to do. I clean up all the messes and make sure there’s fresh litter. Any advice?
