i have 3 persian carpets. they are very valuable to me. the problem is that I have a new puppy. she has found something in the carpet that tastes nice to her, and she spends her time licking the hell out of the persian carpet. i have tried ah “disciplining” her, and now she simply licks when i am not in the room. are there any sprays or home remedies for this. i am desperate because she has licked a patch and has obviously decreased the value considerably.

My puppy was diagnosed with Parvo. She has a pretty good chance of survival, but either way we are needing to sterilize the house. Everywhere I’ve seen says bleach. But what about on the carpet?

When its cold or rainy outside, my dog tends to pee on the kitchen and bathroom rugs instead of going outside to do its business. Is there any powder/spray that is available to apply to rugs that dogs tend to stay away from? Any other tips would be appreciated.

How can I get my 3 female Shih Tzus to stop peeing on my Rugs. I’ve tried spraying vinegar and other stuff from the pet store to no avail. I am in need of some solutions. Thanks in advance

She is 13 yrs old and is very well trained to urinate outside. Last week I put in a new rug and she has urinated on it.

I have a short haired dog and a black rug….I’m spending a fortune on lint rollers and those are not even working that well.

It doesn’t matter if I buy a new one, the family dog will pee on it eventually. I was hoping there was some sort of repellent that was safe for the dog and the rug

My Newfoundland is house trained and has never gone to the bathroom in the house until recently. He had a bout of diarhhea and pooped and peed in the house when he was sick. I cleaned it up and now he poops ( no pee) in other places on the very large rug. I will find poop clear accross the room so I know its not because I haven’t cleaned up the smell from the previous times! I have tried to let him out first thing and right before I go to bed, but it isn’t helping. He seems to find a fascination with the rug. Please help!
It is a large oriental rug in the living room ( will not throw it away!). I have been confining him at night but after I let him out in the morning and go take my shower, I find a present! He does not have diarhhea anymore. I have been cleaning the rug and the smell is gone. He may be trying to tell me something, maybe it’s an attention thing, any other ideas?

My dog keeps peeing in the same place on the rug. Is there a spray i can get or something that will stop him. If so, please tell me where I can buy it.

My dog made my area rug her personal spot and the back of the area rug is now stained and smells. It is that nylon webbing, how do I get that cleaned? I have tried sprays made for pet stains as well as Spot Shot but the nylon webbings won’t clean. Help….
This rug is a 5 by 8 room size rug.
