I have a bunch of socks with holes in them, torn t-shirts and so on… It seems like a waste to just throw out the stuff. I was thinking how my Mom used to have rag rugs made of strips of fabric and I suspect that a rag rug made of socks and t-shirts might make a good bath mat… Anyone know how to make one of these with simple and in-expensive materials?

I want to make my own design of latch hook rug but how would i do that?
Could I buy a design and then i could paint over it with the design I want and the chose my own colors for my design and start making the rug?
