I have rug burn on my ankles because I sit on the floor all the time. I was wondering if anybody knew the best way to get rid of it?
Lol!! I haven’t been doing ANYTHING naughty on the floor. It’s just that I have had this from when I was a child, and children tend to want to sit on floors, rather than in chairs. I was just wondering the best way to get rid of it, or to at least lighten it.

I don’t have a cure, but stop doing what you’re doing. I guess I’d just apply lotion often. Darby

I have never heard of getting “rug burn” on a persons ankles because a person sat on the floor. The question-what were you doing while sitting on the floor? someonecanbme

Try neosporin, and either wear socks or stop sitting on the carpet. Burns are tough to heal – and they hurt, don’t they? The pain will remind you to use a chair. purplewings123
