How can I make a rug burn go away faster?
I fell down in gym class a few times and now I have 2 rug burns on my knees. I have been putting moisterizer on them but is there any other trick that will help them go away? Thanks.

Go to the drug store, pharmacy, or grocery store.
Look in the aisle with all the diapers, baby stuff, etc.
Find A&D ointment. It’s good for rashes, burns, or other irritated skin. Many people use it on tattoos. It’s sold for diaper rash, but works on all kinds of skin issues.

There is a medication called Silvadene that is used for burns but it is by prescription only. It would do the trick if it is bad enough to go to the Dr. about. Otherwise you may just have to tough it out for a little bit. Sorry. Rhonda N
I use Neosporin for anything like that. I’ve noticed that when I use it on “rug burn” type sores, scratches or any other kind of cuts, it helps heal a lot faster and little to no scarring. It’s an antibiotic cream also, so it helps keep it from getting infected. It’s a good thing to keep on hand always! aheartofgold
