How do I get a red wine stain out of my new rug?
stranger_things_happen asked:
The rug is a chocolate brown and I think it’s a cotton/wool blend. The stain is rather obvious and I would rather not hire a carpet cleaner. Thanks!

Use Oxyclean. Should get the job done without bleaching your rug. Good stuff! HappyAlaskan

Good old common cooking salt!!!
No need for expensive chemicals.
Completely cover the stain with a thick layer of salt, leave overnight then vacuumn the next day. CK
