How do you get nail polish off a rug?

Is it possible?
On Tuesday I spilled black nail polish on my pink rug.
I tried scrubbing and I tried nail polish remover, but nothing worked.
Any tips or suggestions on how I can get it out?

Try using rubbing alcohol,if that doesnt work use CLEAR nail polish remover.
Also- very important when you go to clean this stain up whatever kind of cleaning product you decide to use make sure you do not rub the stain only absorb the stain by applying pressure to soak the cleaner/polish up. Once the black nail polish is not visible and you cant see anymore of it on the carpet then you can rub it to clean it some more if you like. tlstami1
oh my god!!!! that same thing happened to my rug. try mixing soapy water and nail polish remover. but sometimes it doesnt come off. and you can also try goo gone. it good stuff=]] i hope i helped!! ♪ ☼♫♥Nashley♥♪ ☼♫
