You need to neutralize the acid in the urine. Try getting some of the remedies from pet smart or better yet, rent/borrow a steam cleaner and use some good products made for pet odor removal. Places like Walmart rent Rug Doctor and you can purchase separately the cleaner esp for pets and odors. At our WM it is in the Customer Service area. FunMom2Two

use baking soda to get it out and use vinegar to keep the animal from peeing there again. Noah Boddy

spritz it with white vinegar leave it outside up high so that another dog cannot pee on it, spritz it again heavily let it air and then add some tide or whatever on it let it set and wash in warm water or take it to the car wash and spray front and back just a mom

Baking soda helps as soon as the spot is soiled . Since you already tried to clean it , perhaps a steam cleaner may help to get the smell out . Proud♫Mary™

let dry. then when it is dry spray frebreeze odor remover .

now it will get the smell out but not entirely the stain. it will however fade away some… good luck and train your doggie right! kaykay

There is also a product by Simple Solution that you can get at most pet stores. There is a dog formula and a cat formula.

I couldn’t believe how well it worked on cat pee – and if you have cats you know that getting cat pee off of fabric is like getting pee out of the pool! But this stuff worked so well that even the cat couldn’t smell anything! golightly1963

  18. kim says:

PLEASE TRY “OUT! pet stain and odor remover”

It uses enzymes to “eat” at whatever is making it stink – this stuff is awesome and it is inexpensive – you can find it a Wal-Mart in the pet section

I promise that it works – just pour it on and let it dry naturally kim
