    Try febreze.
    Shampoo again
Leave it out another couple of days
As a last resort, you can have it dry cleaned. mel s

You need to use an active enzyme on the odor. Would recommend finding a Janitorial Supply house near you and ask them for carpet machine odor enzyme. They carry all sorts of mal-odor enzymes and inhibitors there, similar to what hospitals use, it will help remove the acid and spores in the carpet cause the odor, but may take more than just one treatment. I use it for pet urine smells, and works great. Good luck Kevin G

try fabreeze, it smells like talc when you just spray it but when it dries, it doesn’t smell anymore and removes other smells. Maribel A
