We live in an apartment complex and we will be moving into another apartment but in the same complex, but the other apartment has their rug in bad shape so the leasing office is going to put commercial rug in the apartment. Can they do that? Isn’t commercial for business and etc. Not for apartments? Can they do that?

Is there any way to stain a carpet to make it permanently darker?

Peter asked:

We have tile carpet in one of our apartments. The last tenants spilled red kool aid on it and tried to clean it by putting toilet bowl cleaner on it. Now there are bleach marks all over the apt. The tenants gave up their security to pay for part of it, but it would be nice if I could just darken the whole carpet to hide the damage. Is there anyway to do this with tile carpet? I’m thinking of soaking it in a tub with a couple pounds of coffee over night.

My batroom rugs have become quite dirty…earlier I used to wash it by hand but it is very tedious.I know it can be washed in a machine using a gentle cycle. My washing machine is a very simple one…the ones that usually comes with apartments.I have put the settings to cold/cold but am not sure which cycle to choose…the cottons (light/normal/heavy/extra heavy) or the wrinkle free (extra light/light/normal/heavy)
Can anybody tell me about it…??
