What can we use besides a rug to keep the bed from moving on the hard wood floor?

xxkittenluvxx143 asked:

When we get on and off the bed, make the bed, anything… it moves accross the room. We are afraid of the scratching on the freshly polyurathaned floors and it frankly impedes certain activities.

Is there anything that we can purchase at Lowes or Home depot or whereever which we can put under the wheels or legs of the bed to keep it from moving? We can’t get a rug because his cat unfortunately is drawn to marking carpets even tho he is neutered.

Thanks for any suggestions

How can I fix a fray in my area rug?

asdflkjh asked:

Cut it then burn it? My cat ruined my rug and I would like to try and fix it rather than getting her another one to claw at. There are tons of little pulls all over it. The center of the area rug is almost like commercial-grade (tightly weaved).

We have tried washing the new bathroom rug in odor ban, and have sprayed it with febreeze, we have checked the litter box to see if it is full, and have tried changing it, and have chastized the cat when caught in the act…nothing works. It used to only go in the litterbox.

I put down the new rug and before we could even get use of it, she peed on it. This is very frustrating and I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions on how to get a carpet stain?

sarahfowler02 asked:

Ok, my cat knocked over my raspberry crystal light drink yesterday and it has made this horrible red stain on my carpet. My husband and I have tried everything we can think of. We used our steam cleaner, run the SpotBot over it and cleaned it with OxyClean, but it still will not come out. Looking for any ideas or suggestions on how to get this stain out.

Please note that I am looking for reliable ideas, so please do not tell me to get rid of my carpet. Thank you.
To answer some questions, the carpet is a beige color and it’s about 4 years old. Thanks everyone.

How can I stop my cat from tearing up the rug for no reason?

bek0911 asked:

Our cat, Steve, don’t look at me like that, the shelter named him, is tearing up the rugs for no particular reason than to just scratch up the rug. We’ve tried everything, but he is annoyingly persistent in everything he does, and keeps tearing up the rugs in any possible corner he can find. My mom and I are both extremely frustrated at this.

Any solutions you guys and girls can give us? Thank you so much in advance!

How do I repair pulled loops on a wool rug?

e428 asked:

My cat kneads the wool rug runner and has pulled loops up. The loops are not broken, but I know they shouldn’t be cut. On a wool sweater, a knitting needle can be used to push the pulled loops to the other side, but the rug is more densely woven with a mesh backing. How do I push the loops back through? Or is there an alternative to repairing this? Thanks!

My cat has been peeing on my area rug in the living room. Recently it peed on our guest bed as well. How do I get it to stop? Is there any spray, herb, etc that I purchase that will detour the cat from such areas?

I have an 8 month old kitten and a 7 month old kitten and one (or both) have been pooping on the rug, in the hallway where the litter box is. It’s always in this area. I make sure their litter boxes are clean, so idk what to do. I clean up all the messes and make sure there’s fresh litter. Any advice?
