I am buying a Grizzly Bear Rug from a man in a few days. He is selling it for $400 but they usually go for around $1000 to $3000. I am sure it’s real but I’d hate to be fooled because I failed to make an obvious observation. Is there any way to tell if this grizzly bear rug is real or fake? Are there tests or procedures?

The management office for our apartment told us the carpets would be cleaned a few days before we moved in. Yesterday (Sunday) was our move-in day, however, the carpets don’t look as though they were cleaned yet. I called the office today and the office maintenance log says the carpets were cleaned, but I’m not sure this is accurate. How can I tell by looking at the carpets whether they were cleaned or not? There are still lots of furniture marks in the carpet and some stains. There are also no lines where the machine would have passed on the carpets. I have two small children who literally live on the floor all day, so I want to be sure the job was done right!
