We have tried washing the new bathroom rug in odor ban, and have sprayed it with febreeze, we have checked the litter box to see if it is full, and have tried changing it, and have chastized the cat when caught in the act…nothing works. It used to only go in the litterbox.

Bella asked:

I have two cats. And starting a few months ago, the rug in front of door gets peed on. And I also watched my male cat today pee on my heating pad! Their cat box is clean and they use it regularly. We have ruled out medical issues. Nothing has changed in our household except that I am pregnant. But I cannot imagine that would make them pee on rug and heating pad. Why if they are not sick and they are using their litter box would they continue to pee on the rug??????

So frustrated.
