I have a son that is constantly spilling juice and what have you on the carpet, most of it I can get out, but the ones that have red die in it I cannot get out. I have even used industrial carpet cleaner. Please someone help me get these stains out of my carpet.

I have had a large Persian rug for a long time. I just moved and want to put it in my room but it needs to be shampooed or cleaned or something! Where is a good and affordable place to get this done? Any suggestions?

Looking for something that is durable. Easy to clean and will look good for a long time. handmade, machine made, heat set? wool or some other material?
also, is a handmade rug a responsible purchase or were kids and women slaving over it for pennies?
