I have had a large Persian rug for a long time. I just moved and want to put it in my room but it needs to be shampooed or cleaned or something! Where is a good and affordable place to get this done? Any suggestions?

I have a Persian rug with Farsi writing on it. Where can I find someone online to translate it ? It would require e-mailing them a picture of the rug.

One fourth of the rug has faded over about 1/4 of the area in one quadrant. The fading is difficult to see at night under normal lights but stands out during the day when looked at an angle to give an idea of the degree..

Is there some sort of treatment for these rugs that will bring back the color and make it consistent?

I have a rug imported from Iran. It is made of wool on a silk backing. My cat was sick on it and some of the color ran—vermilion into cream color. It is getting a bit dingy and I would like to get it cleaned. Is there any way to get the pinkinsh stain out of the cream part. It is a beautiful rug.

My boyfriend and I just purchased a persian rug on ebay only to learn it’s polypropylene not wool. Is there a difference in the material? If so, what can we expect this rug to be like? Will it be soft? Thank you!
