I have a couple persian wool/silk handmade carpets at my home and they’ve been sitting in storage. I figure maybe it’s time to get rid of 1 or 2 but I have no idea where a good place to sell them would be…One is brand new, still has price tag at $2900 but a bit dusty, and I have no idea where to start. I just have them sitting around…Any ideas on how or where to sell them?

I know this rug is old and great quality. My Aunt gave it to me and I would like to know how to know something. She was ill when they were giving to the family.

I recently purchased a small area rug at an auction and need to have it cleaned. Is there a way to determine what type of material it’s made of?
I did the burn test, as soon as the flame hit it disinigrated, so it was hard to tell if there was any smell. What would happen if it was silk?
