Sassy Shut Your Mouth asked:

to put by the sink and she is scratching it. It is not like a rug it is made of a different material, the rug doesn’t slide it sticks to the linoluem floor. Thanks in advance for your tips.
BTW he doesn’t like her doing it either. Secondly, I adore her…. and I named her so I don’t hate her and I am not worried about my relationship. I will just buy another… it is just that the rug wasn’t cheap and matter of fact it is very nice and he loves it… mainly b/c I went through the trouble to modernize his slumpy apt to look like an sophisicated bach. pad. And… I would never give her away or declaw her or do anything mean to my baby girl. She is my little possessive princess and I love spoiling my little Chelsea Jewel

Cheer Bear asked:

Water has spilt on my carpet. It is not a great amount but way more then a glass. (My house isn’t flooding or anything) Anyways, I am worried if I don’t get it up properly that mold can grow in my carpet, and I would be unable to detect it. Is that something that can really happen or am I parinoid? If it can happen how can I properly dry my carpet, so I can eliminate that threat? Thanks in advance.

I am worried about bringing my baby here. Please guys, how can I make this carpet dust free? Or is there any way I can atleast cover the old carpet in nursery with something else. I don’t know if i wouyld be able to fine a big enough area rug.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Recently, my basement is flooded with water due to rain. It’s finished basement.Just recently finished it. We used RugDoctor to take the water out of the carpet. We almost drained the water out. But the carpet pad is still very wet. Is there any way to dry the carpet padding? or Should I change the pad?? Can we reuse the same padding after dry it out. or do I need to but new one? Becuase it’s the basement, I’m not sure how long will it to take to dry. I’m afraid that mold will form if it doesn’t dry soon. Any ideas?? Please help me. Thanks in advance.
