What color paint and carpet would go good with burgundy/green furniture?

We currently have green carpet and beige walls. Our furniture is mostly a cream color with a burgundy and green rose print on it. Also we have green curtains. We would really like to just start out fresh with everything but my grandparents bought us the furniture and curtains. Any ideas for what we should paint our walls and what color our carpet should be?

I would paint one accent wall burgundy with the rest of the walls beige. For the carpeting I would go with a medium brown color. You don’t want anything too light. The accent wall will make the room pop. Chrissey
