What color rug and curtain will go with my dark brown leather sofa?

I bought dark brown leather sofa. I have all the accent pieces in red and black i also have writing table in black color and tv armoire in brown color. So i have brown red and black theme going on in the room. How can i tie all this together???What color rug and curtains should i buy??

    With these colors it sound like your going with some type of modern theme…so I’d go with a geometric area rug (Tan with Black & Red), and then hunt for some big and bold Plaid curtains in the same colors. Once you find what you like pick up some solid colored pillows in Tan and Red. This should help blend everything together. DaDiva

    Brown is a neutral so anything goes. I would look for a rug that has the colors you already have and more but add some lighter colors as well since your base colors are dark. The draperies should be a lighter creamy color to offset the heaviness. dawnb

    Some brown curtains with a thick bold black stripe along the bottom.
    Not so much this style, but this is just to communicate the idea. Having the darker of the two colors at the bottom will give it some visual weight and grounding. As for your carpet, I would go all out and use your red. If that is a little too much for you I would use a rug that incorporates mainly the browns and blacks. Ohara C
