Cannot remember the name of it but its like a double sided tape from one of the catalogue’s that come through your door,it works for me,for about the last 7 or so years have used it . Robert W
Superglue HELLO DAVE?……
You can use shelf liner, not the thin sticky stuff but the thicker spongy stuff. Cut it a little smaller than the rug and place it under the rug. It will keep it in place and if you ever spill anything it will also prevent it from going through to the carpet:) star772
theses are great catalogs with both the double sided tape, and they make mats that are non slip for under rugs, both places have them..
good luck darlin12009

i just put a table ontop of my rug, i have tryed loads of things and products but non seem to work jane t
If you have a wooden floor try a panel pin in the two corner where the space appears.
As you tread the pile down under the rug it moves it forward so sticking it to the under pile will not work so good. simonavitch
It is difficult to stop a rug on top of a carpet moving, There are carpet grips you can buy, something like a velcro material, but it is not very sucessful. Try asking advice in a carpet shop. nosdda
get a tube of silicone sealant, and spread it on the wrong side of the rug.let it dry…turn it back over ..and hey presto..your none slip rug…. JACKIE
Sellotape make a product called Rug Gripper, surprise! Its really for gripping a mat to a hard floor but I use it to keep the bathroom mat in place.
There is also something at Scotts of Stow you may be interested in. They are called Self Adhesive Grippers which are plastic spikes that grip the carpet pile beneath. They cost £7.95 and the product number is 1049882. The ‘phone number is 0870 600 4444 and I can personally recommend this company as I have used them a lot.
Good luck, hope this helps. I know how annoying a moving rug can be!
