Sarah asked:

I want to remove urine odor and stains random places on the rug all throughout the apartment. What rug cleaning enzyme is very effective, not too expensive, and above all, pet safe? And where would I find it?

use biological washing powder, that is an enzyme. I use is on the strongest of all dog smells: The leaking anal gland! And it works everytime! Tallulah

Kids and Pets. I get it at Walmart, under $6.00 for a 32 oz bottle. It works good as the more expensive stuff. L.K.

Be sure to blot the urine with towels to dry the rug as much as possible before cleaning.
For a natural cleaning solution, mix together a cup of hydrogen peroxide (available in the first aid section of the grocery/drug store), 2 Tablespoons of baking soda and a couple drops of liquid dish detergent. Put the mixture in a spray bottle. Spray the area until it is soaking wet. Let it stand 10-15 minutes and pat dry with an absorbent rag or towel. Treat again if necessary. You can make a bottle of this for less than a dollar! kmom

Call any rug cleaners who will fix the problem. There are many tips but need to take care while using. And if you are not so much experience on cleaning then leave it for cleaners. Ruby

Kids and Pets works great. If you can’t find it at your local Wal-Mart (if your wal-mart is like mine, then you know what I mean) you can get it on Amazon. AnswerGirl ₪ ø lll·o.
